How can you tell if you have a sinus infection?

I went to the doctor on Thursday because my migranes were so bad that it was making me throw up. They said i have a viral infection, and it should go away by monday. Since then I have been having so many issues. Yesterday my eyes were so blood shot and running with a light yellow goo coming out of them (it is not pink eye). I do have swollen sinuses or something, when I look of my nose with a flashlight, it looks like there are 2 little red ballons up there. Now, I have a TERRIBLE head ache again...it is all around and bhind my eyes....right above my eye brows if you push on my head it husrt, like even on the surface, but it also hurts deaper in my head, like behind my eye balls. I am congested. I just don't know what to do. It is so hard to get to the doctors because we only have 1 car and my husband works an hours away and my doctor is an hour away in the opposite direction of his work. I am working on getting a closer doc, but in the meantime i don't know what to do. Do you think I have a sinus infectoin? Should I go to the doctors? Should I wait it out longer? it has been like this, not getting better, but wourse sinnce wednesday night:(. I feel like garbage and i have 2 babies i am taking care of and I just wanna be better. ANy help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
